WORCS Round 9 - Speedworld, AZ

Yamaha's Dustin Nelson, riding his #94 Roll Design equipped YFZ450R, claimed his first WORCS victory at the final round of the 2011 WORCS series last weekend - just weeks after securing his fifth Pro 450 Production class championship in the Quad-X motocross racing series. Rains fed a muddy Arizona racecourse at Speedworld MX park, forcing many drenched riders to search for clean goggles within the first few turns of the race. Nelson exploded out of the gate during Sunday's Pro Main Event, taking the WORCS holeshot bonus cash and establishing a comfortable, roost-free gap for the lead, a gap that he would maintain for much of the race. In the end, Nelson finished nearly a half-minute ahead of the second place finisher.

At the end of the WORCS season, Roll Design riders numbered five of the top ten series finishers in the pro class, and six of the top ten series finishers in the Pro-Am class. Roll Design/MCR Honda rider, Beau Baron, finished third at the end of the year with five podium finishes in the nine race series. In the Pro-Am class, Roll Design's Keith Johnson also had five podium finishes for the year, finishing soundly in second place. Johnson also claimed first place in the Production A class series points championship.
